Introduction

GAT is the abbreviation of Graduate Assessment Test, which NTS manages. NTS is a foundation that conducts tests in order to assess the students. The test is mandatory for students, who are interested in studying M.PHIL and PH.D. The students, who are able to score more than 80% marks get a scholarship from this foundation.

Classification

When a person clears the test, then he/she has a valid permission to apply for M.PHIL or PH.D. If he/she does not apply within two years, then his/her GAT qualification will become invalid. He/she has to give this test once again and gain efficient marks in order to proceed with higher studies.
How To Apply And What You Require
Do you know how to apply for this test? It is simple. You must have a National Identity Card in order to register yourself for this test. Go to the official website and look for applying Graduate Test Assessment. NTS conducts this test four times in a year. When you find the option of registration, then proceed with it. It will ask for fresh photos, NIC and academic qualification.
Then NTS issues a Challan Form, you have to print it and submit the dues in the bank. Then you have to mail the original Challan Form to the following address.
